Give the Gift of Hope This Holiday---Help Grant a Special Christmas Wish!

Ho Ho Ho!!! The holidays will be there before we know it and it will be time to celebrate at Indianapolis’ premier holiday event--- Christmas in the Kitchen. This unique holiday food extravaganza will take place on Thursday,, December 12, 2013 in the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis’ main kitchen and ballroom at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds from the event benefit Indiana Children’s Wish Fund and will help grant special Christmas wishes for Indiana Wish children. Presenting sponsor is Wallington Asset Management, LLC. Other sponsors are Weaver Popcorn, Lumina Foundation, Indianapolis Monthly and Mary Fursott Charitable Foundation.

Guests will enjoy a wide assortment of delicious appetizers, entrees, desserts, famous “Polar Bear” drinks, wine and spirits. All of the culinary creations, crafted by Executive Chef John Pivar and his Hyatt team, will be prepared right in front of the guests in the Hyatt kitchen. A holiday raffle will also be held to raise money for Indiana Children’s Wish Fund. Festive live holiday music will be provided throughout the evening.

Individual tickets are $125 (admittance into the event with seating) or $100 per person (admittance into the event without seating).

Festive holiday gingerbread houses (made with love by Wish children) will be on display in the Hyatt kitchen and will be auctioned off to raise money for special Christmas wishes.

“Christmas in the Kitchen is truly a one of a kind experience,” says Terry Ceaser-Hudson, Executive Director for Indiana Children’s Wish Fund. “And our guests are thrilled knowing they are helping grant special Christmas wishes for our precious Wish children,”

Indiana Children’s Wish Fund, established in 1984, grants wishes to Indiana children, ages 3-18, who suffer from a life-threatening illness. Wishes include trips to Disney, shopping sprees, meeting celebrities, family vacations and home computers. To date, the organization has granted over 3,000 wishes to Indiana children.
