INDIANA CHILDREN’S WISH FUND CELEBRATES 25 YEARS & 2,000 WISHES GRANTED TO INDIANA CHILDREN At GAME WORKS & INDIANA PACERS GAME ON MARCH 29th

Current & Former Wish Children Honored at March 29th Celebration

Indiana Children’s Wish Fund celebrated its 25th Year Anniversary and the granting of its 2,000th wish by honoring over 100 Wish Fund children and their families on March 29th, 2009 at Game Works, located in Circle Centre Mall. Fun, festivities, a cake-cutting ceremony and special surprises were in store for these Wish children. Immediately following the festivities at Game Works, Wish children and their families were treated to the Indiana Pacers vs. Washington Wizards basketball game, at Conseco Field house, thanks to the Indiana Pacers and their donation of tickets. This milestone captured the ICWF family: wish children, their families, staff, board of directors and long time individual and corporate supporters.

Game Works provided Wish children and their families’ free access to all video games, pinball machines, air hockey and car racing. The Hyatt Regency Indianapolis catered all food and refreshments along with a special 25 Year Anniversary cake. To capture the excitement of March Madness basketball hysteria, on-going NCAA basketball coverage was also displayed in the Games Works ESPN TV room.

“Our hearts are filled with joy as we celebrate this special milestone,” says Terry Ceaser-Hudson, Executive Director of Indiana Children’s Wish Fund. “Our Wish children are treasures to us --- each child and each Wish family makes up a beautiful tapestry of our 25 Year history.”
