Indy's biggest sports stars take the field for a cause on June 15, 2017, for the 9th Annual Caroline Symmes Memorial Celebrity Softball Challenge. The event benefits the Indiana Children's Wish Fund, with Indy celebrities taking over downtown Victory Field and raising funds to help the Indiana Children's Wish Fund grant wishes to Indiana children, ages 3 -18, who suffer from life-threatening illnesses.
Headlining this year's Celebrity Softball Challenge are Indianapolis Colts legends Robert Mathis and Pat McAfee, plus current Colts All-Pro T.Y. Hilton and Indiana Pacers All-Star Paul George. Pacers center Myles Turner will also be in the line-up, with more Indy sports stars still to be announced.
First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m., and gates will open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale to the public starting May 1.
